Graduate schools

ATMO PhD students can choose between three ATMO related graduate schools depending on their host institute and PhD topic.

All three graduate schools are funded by the Hemholtz Initiative and Networking Fund.

 

GRACE - GRAduate school for Climate and Environment

GRACE is the graduate school for PhD students of the KIT-Center Climate and Environment at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). In cooperation with the Technical University of Darmstadt and the ESADE Buisness School Barcelona a wide range of possibilities for study and research are made available.

 

HITEC - Graduate School for energy and climate

HITEC is a graduate school for PhD students at the Forschungszentrum Jülich and its partner universities RWTH Aachen University, Ruhr-University Bochum, Universität zu Köln, Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf and Bergische Universität Wuppertal.

 

MICMoR - Research School on Mechanisms and Interactions of Climate Change in Mountain regions.

MICMoR offers a structured graduate programme for PhD students from the field of Climate Change research. The Research School is a joint project of KIT/IMK-IFU with its partner institutions Technische Universität München, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Universities of Augsburg, Bayreuth and Würzburg, DLR Oberpfaffenhofen and Helmholtz Zentrum München.
